Grieving for a Pet

Saying farewell to a pet is an emotional journey for all family members, it can be devastating to lose a four-legged companion.

We are proud to have team members within of our Client Care Team in Cumbria who are specially trained in supporting pet owners at times of a bereavement. Our team at Kentdale are here to support you in reaching fully informed decisions about end-of-life care and euthanasia at what can be a very difficult time.

There are also a range of support services outside of our Hospital that are even better equipped to offer support at this time, including the Blue Cross and the Ralph site.

Should you have any worries or questions following the loss of a pet please feel free to contact us at Kentdale Vets; we fully understand that questions often come to mind days or even weeks after the event and are here to support you.
