He is an Associate Tutor for the University of Chester and is involved with teaching and examining the CPD Solutions Postgraduate Certificate in Surgery course to qualified vets. For the last two years has been appointed as an examiner for the RCVS Diploma in Small Animal Surgery (Orthopaedics) which is a Specialist level qualification that allows successful candidates to become Recognised Specialists.
His clinical interests include arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery, complex fracture repair and spinal surgery and the treatment of end stage joint disease. He heads up our highly successful hip joint replacement and elbow joint resurfacing services at Kentdale.
Out of work he lives in a menagerie with his (long-suffering) wife, two teenage kids, two dogs, three cats, two horses, a mischievous Shetland pony called Thunderpants and a half blind chicken. His hobbies include watching wildlife, particularly the local Roe and Red deer, scuba diving and downhill skiing.
