Megan Whinfield
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Megan first joined Kentdale in 2012 as an ANA after completing an Animal Care and Management course at Lancaster and Morecambe College. She trained at Kentdale as a Student Veterinary Nurse and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2017 from Myerscough College.
She returned to Kentdale in February 2022 as a night nurse, after gaining experience in first opinion work. Her main areas of interest are rehabilitation and physiotherapy, pain management, emergency care, cardiology and anaesthesia.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her two dogs, Jud, an English Springer and Lily, a Drakeshead Labrador and her three rescue chickens, Dorothy, Rose and Blanche (aka. The Golden Girls). She is also busy helping run a family business and renovating their family home.
