Meet Ted, the Italian Spinone who has recovered successfully after bilateral surgery to remove his ear canals.<\/p>\n

Four-year-old Ted was referred to Kentdale with a history of chronic bilateral ear infections. Following consultation, Ted underwent a CT scan to check for infection in the middle ear, which was clear. It was then confirmed via examination that Ted had chronic bilateral otitis.<\/p>\n

During a successful three-hour surgery, Jan Beranek, RCVS Specialist in Small Animal Surgery, removed both of Ted\u2019s ear canals.<\/p>\n
