We’re reminding pet owners to be aware of the potential dangers to their animals this festive season.<\/p>\n

As you decorate your homes for the festive season, please be mindful of items that can present risks to pets such as tinsel, sharp tree needles, glass baubles, low-lying fairy lights, mistletoe, Ivy, lilies and poinsettias.<\/p>\n

Foods that should be on pet owners’ radars include chocolates, chestnuts, grapes, raisins, currants sultanas and alcohol, while macadamia nuts, onions and mouldy foods such as walnuts, bread and cheese, can all be harmful.<\/p>\n
