Kentdale is a specialist-led referral centre treating a wide range of surgical patients. Our purpose-built veterinary hospital is located on the edge of the beautiful Lake District in Milnthorpe, Cumbria.
We are now seeking a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse or second year Student Veterinary Nurse to work within our highly skilled, dedicated and welcoming nursing family.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, the successful candidate will deliver gold standard veterinary care to our patients.
Previous referral hospital experience is desirable but not essential as we will provide support and training.
Main duties will include:
- Specialist ward nursing of Orthopaedic, Neurological and Soft Tissue patients
- Monitoring anaesthesia, including advanced techniques
- Working in conjunction with our Specialists and Physiotherapist providing gold standard care to our patients.
This is a permanent position, with flexibility to being full-time or part-time.
Rota consists of a mixture of day and night shifts, weekdays only. No on-call duties.
